Enjoy stunning 360-degree views of the city from London’s highest public garden featuring landscaped gardens, an open-air terrace, bars, and restaurants across three floors. While entry is free, it requires a mandatory advance booking via their official website.
The Old Operating Theatre Museum
For a more unusual London experience, this museum is well worth a visit. Located in the attic of the early eighteenth-century church of the former St Thomas’ Hospital, it offers a fascinating insight into the history of medicine and surgery before anaesthetics and antiseptics. It is the oldest surviving surgical theatre in Europe.

Holland Park
For a peaceful break from the bustle of central London, Holland Park is well worth a visit. One of its standout features is the beautiful Kyoto Garden, a serene Japanese garden that is widely considered one of the park’s highlights. The park also has woodland walks, formal gardens, the nearby Fukushima Memorial Garden, and resident peacocks that are often seen around the grounds.
